#Onedrive for business mac client download#
Download the sync client from the app store. I thought it valuable to mention the above. Office 365 - OneDrive for Business Mac sync client. I, and I suspect others, had been searching for solutions to the "Business App" not for the "Personal App" (and having a hard time finding anything about the Business App/ personal App relationship.) I recognize this is a presentation related comment but Needing to read the "Overview of Settings" section in the middle of the "Deploying the OneDrive Next Generation Sync Client on OS X and configuring work or school accounts" first to understand this. With so much emphasis on the "OneDrive for Business" and "OneDrive for Business Next Generation Sync Client" it may be helpful if users understand the "OneDrive" App linked above, functions in the "OneDrive for Business" environment without those same users The text explains this App is for your personal account and does not mention the school/ work account use. Indeed there does not to appear to be any mention of this functionality in the Mac App Store. It never occurred to me the OneDrive, linked above, in the Mac App Store could, would or should work with my OneDrive for Business account.

Especially given OneDrive and OneDrive for Business were, I thought, totally separate applications. One theme I will mention which may help others is the text in the "Setting Up" section of your third (3rd) link above the text in the Mac App Store and the lack of a "OneDrive for Business App" in the Mac App Store, makes getting functionality of OneDrive I will be working on the remaining Mac's in our office later today and hope to see the same result.

Thank you again for your assistance! By following your instructions OneDrive is now working again for my Mac.
